During the 2022 US Corn Belt Crop Tour, Chief Commodity Strategist Moe Agostino will host a series of webinars with renown weather expert Dr. Simon Atkins, PhD, Climate Risk Economist, Solar Scientist, Planetary Threat Forecaster, to provide weather insights to Farms.com Risk Management clients as well as farmers who are following the Crop Tour.
The 11th Annual Farms.com Risk Management US Corn Belt Crop Tour will feature five webinars to review long-term weather forecasts so that farmers may more accurately plan for the current growing season, hopefully enabling them to enhance their production decisions as well as their marketing decisions for the season.
Yield results are important to a farmer, but poor growing conditions do not have to mean weak bottom-line results if the farmer better understands the potential of commodity marketing, and the impact weather can have.
Four of the Webinars will be presented on Thursdays at 7:30 am (Central Time) – they will be brief but informative as we know it is a busy season for farmers.
