U.S. beef prices are soaring!

(Oct 10, 2025)
Ground beef averaged $6.32/lb in August — up 13% Y/Y and 58% since 2021. The cattle herd is now the smallest since the 1950s. This is driven by drought, rising costs, and record calf prices. November feeder cattle set a new all time high.
